M*A*S*H
What I learned about M*A*S*H is that it was a comedy show and movie based on the Korean War about a unit of medical personnel.
The images that I used in this postcard are the camouflage background and soldiers marching. I used the camouflage to show it about the army and I used the soldiers to show it takes place in a war setting.
The typefaces that I used were Arial and Ellis both in white. I used Ellis because it matched the font used in the actual show and movie and I used Arial because it was a simple font that could balance Ellis. I made them both white to make it show better on my postcard.
I think the main focal point of my postcard is the title M*A*S*H because it is written big in a different font and the white makes it pop from the camouflage. I placed the title on the top because there was a lot of space on the top due to fact that I put soldiers on the bottom of the page. My layout is the camouflage as the background then the soldiers in front with the information and title and lastly in front of the soldiers is the description of the play.
I think I did well on this postcard and captured some parts of the theme. It is informative and eye catching, but I don’t think I capture all of themes of the play like how it is a comedy and it is about medics.
